Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy & Security policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We record which revision of these Terms your account accepted and when. If we change the Terms materially, we will ask you to accept the updated revision in the app.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate account information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may not share your account or let others access it.

Vinskal is in early access. Creating an account requires a referral key from an existing member, and your own account carries a referral key you may give to people you know. Referral keys are personal: do not post them publicly, sell them, or use them to create accounts for other people. We may limit, rotate, or revoke referral keys and early-access admission at our discretion.

Vinskal reads public job postings from employer career sites and applicant tracking systems, matches them against the career profile you build, and prepares application materials — resumes, cover letters, and answers to application questions — as drafts for your review. Nothing generated is sent anywhere until you approve it.

Approval is the authorization. When you approve a specific revision of an application package, you authorize Vinskal’s Apply Agent to open the employer’s application form in a browser that Vinskal runs, fill it with the approved content, attach the approved files, and submit it. Editing any part of a package creates a new revision that needs its own approval; an approval of an older revision is refused. The Service never submits an application you have not approved and never mass-applies on your behalf. You can watch a run live, take over the browser yourself, cancel a run, and replay a run afterwards. If Vinskal cannot confirm that an employer received a submission, it tells you so rather than counting it as applied.

Some steps are always yours. CAPTCHAs, sign-in challenges, one-time codes, and employer verification emails are never solved or bypassed by Vinskal; when a form asks for one, the run pauses and hands the page to you. The Apply Agent never fills Social Security or tax identifiers, payment details, passwords, one-time codes, signatures, self-identification or demographic surveys, background-check or drug-screen authorizations, or legal declarations your profile does not hold. A question Vinskal cannot answer from information you gave it is left for you.

The browser extension is a job-page detector. It classifies the page you are on locally in your browser, shows a small “Open in Vinskal” control when it finds a job, and, only when you click it, opens that job’s address in the Vinskal web app. It does not fill forms, capture your answers, submit applications, hold your Vinskal login, or send anything before you click.

Operational messages — sign-in verification, security and account notices, password resets, push notifications you enable on the mobile app, and reminder digests you have enabled — are sent by the Service itself and are not employer-facing, so the approval requirement does not apply to them.

Beyond filling and submitting approved content, some parts of applying involve Vinskal acting for you. Each is described here so your approval is informed.

• Employer terms. Most application forms cannot be submitted without ticking a box agreeing to the employer’s or its applicant-tracking vendor’s terms. By approving a package you authorize Vinskal to tick that required box for you, and you are bound by those employer terms as if you had ticked it yourself. Vinskal reads them as part of the form and does not evaluate them for you; read them where it matters to you. Vinskal never ticks optional marketing, talent-pool, or data-sharing opt-ins, and never provides a signature or a typed name in your place.
• Candidate accounts at employers. Some employers (for example, those using Workday) require a candidate account before an application can be submitted. If you give the separate, one-time consent in Account & Settings, Vinskal may create such an account in your name using your email address and a password Vinskal generates, accept that employer’s account terms while doing so, and store the password encrypted so it can sign in for later applications to the same employer and reveal it to you when you ask. Any verification code the employer sends is for you to enter. Those accounts belong to you: you may change their passwords, close them, or withdraw the consent at any time (existing accounts remain until you close them at the employer). Deleting your Vinskal account deletes the stored credentials but does not close the accounts at the employers.
• Network location. The browser that runs your applications sends the employer’s page traffic through a residential proxy matched to the region on your profile, so the employer sees an address near you rather than a datacenter. This is a location choice, not a way around employer controls; it is not used to evade CAPTCHAs, blocks, or rate limits, and only the employer page traffic passes through it.
• Connected AI apps. You may connect a third-party AI app (for example, a desktop AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol) to your Vinskal account, choosing which permissions it receives. Anything that app does under your grant — reading your profile, editing an application package, or approving a package, which authorizes its submission — is treated as done by you. You are responsible for the app you connect and for what you ask it to do; Vinskal is not responsible for the third-party app. You can revoke a connection at any time from Account & Settings, and revocation takes effect immediately.

You are responsible for the truthfulness of everything submitted to employers under your account. Vinskal drafts only from information you provided or approved and does not invent qualifications, but you must review and approve every package before it is used. Do not submit false, misleading, exaggerated, or plagiarized information.

You are responsible for following each employer’s and job platform’s terms, as well as applicable laws, including any terms Vinskal accepts on your behalf under Section 5. Vinskal assists with drafting, organization, and submission of what you approve; it does not bypass employer rules, CAPTCHAs, identity checks, or application limits, and it does not apply to the same posting repeatedly.

• Do not attempt to access other users’ data, accounts, or admin functionality.
• Do not use the Service to harass, defraud, or impersonate others.
• Do not use the Service, a connected AI app, or the extension to scrape sites, bypass security controls, circumvent usage allowances, or submit applications outside the review and approval flow the Service provides.
• Do not use the live view or take-over controls to submit content that Vinskal refused to fill, or to enter false information in an employer’s form.
• Do not share, sell, or publicly post referral keys, or create accounts for other people.
• Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the Service or its security.
• Repeated or serious abuse may result in warnings, restriction, suspension, or termination.

You retain ownership of the information and materials you create or upload, including the application packages generated from them. You grant Vinskal a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, generating drafts you request, submitting a package you approved, or keeping the replay of a run for you to review). You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you provide. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you. We may also create and use de-identified and aggregated data derived from your use of the Service to operate, secure, and improve it, consistent with our Privacy & Security policy.

The Service uses AI to produce drafts, to score how well postings match your profile, and to summarize publicly available information about employers (“company insights”). AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, and is provided for your review only. Match scores are estimates. Company insights are compiled from public web sources and public government filings, are shared with every Vinskal user who looks at the same employer, and can be wrong or out of date; they are not a statement by Vinskal about any employer and do not guarantee that a posting or recruiter is legitimate. You must independently verify employers and postings. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before it is used. Vinskal does not guarantee any outcome, interview, or job offer.

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Vinskal and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.

The Service relies on and links to third-party services: AI providers (Google Gemini; Perplexity for company-insight web search), Google sign-in and optional Gmail access, hosting, database, storage, and email-delivery providers, error monitoring, the mobile push-notification service, the residential proxy described in Section 5, the employer and applicant-tracking sites your applications go to, and any AI app you connect. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms. The Privacy & Security policy names the providers that process your data.

Vinskal uses Gmail access, when you enable it, only to read status signals you request and to create follow-up drafts you request. Although the OAuth scope technically permits sending, Vinskal does not use Gmail’s send methods; you send the draft yourself from Gmail. Outbound email uses Vinskal’s configured email provider, not Gmail send access.

Vinskal is free during early access. A referral code is required to create an account. Members receive 10 tailored application packages and 3 agent sends per week; the week turns over Monday 02:00 UTC. A package is counted when it is tailored. A send is counted only when the agent's application is confirmed received, and applying yourself is never counted. Other AI features carry a flat monthly allowance. Admin accounts are exempt from these limits. Billing and paid subscriptions are not currently available. Any future paid offering will show its price and terms before you choose to subscribe.

Because the Service is in early access, features may change, be limited, or be removed without notice, allowances may be adjusted, and we may withdraw access to the early-access program. The Service is provided without any service-level commitment during this period.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in the Service is legal, financial, tax, employment, or immigration advice. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vinskal and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including any application submitted, employer account created, or employer terms accepted under an authorization you gave. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vinskal and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, actions taken under your approvals or by an AI app you connected, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account & Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Applications already submitted, and candidate accounts already created at employers, are not withdrawn or closed by termination; they remain yours to manage with the employer. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above, ask you to accept the new revision in the app, and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Vinskal operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before bringing any claim, you agree to first email [email protected] and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction, and you and Vinskal consent to personal jurisdiction there — except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence provides otherwise.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time, including allowances and usage limits. Except as required by applicable law, we are not liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

These Terms and the Privacy & Security policy are the entire agreement between you and Vinskal regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. These Terms create no third-party beneficiary rights.
